As life goes on, where are we heading to?

another simple sharing…

Hadith 3 Arabic text

On the authority of Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar bin al-Khattab, radiyallahu ‘anhuma, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, say:

“Islam has been built upon five things – on testifying that there is no god save Allah, and that Muhammad is His Messenger; on performing salah; on giving the zakah; on Hajj to the House; and on fasting during Ramadhan.”

[Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

This is probably, no, definitely the first time I write a post in English. It’s the first step for me to keep this blog attended. Experiences, thoughts, knowledges, reminders, reflections and also advices shared for all of us as His humble being. Hopefully, I can keep this up till the very end. Insya allah.

Islam is built on these 5 Pillars:

Faith,     Prayer,     Zakat,     Hajj,     Fasting

I’m not planning to explain further. I merely want to share the 3rd hadith of Forty Hadith by Imam Nawawi. I include a nasyeed for you to easily memorize the hadith. Enjoy!

p/s – For my parents, at last, the wish has come true. Allah has finally granted the wish to visit Him. Please have a safe journey to Baitullah for the pilgrimage and ultimately fulfill the 4th pillar. Don’t forget to pray for your son here in Rolla, far from hometown (in fact, obviously). May Allah bless abah and ummi His barakah and may you achieve Hajj Mabrur. For my brothers and sisters, take good care of yourselves while abah and ummi gone. I’m not gonna be there for you. =)

“He who performs Hajj without speaking or committing indecencies (abstains from sensual and sinful acts) will return as free of sins as he was on the day when his mother gave birth to him.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
